I do have many sides like Brain fog, general fatigue, anxiety, decreased testicle size, gyno, redness gone in most of my skin, cold sensitivity, and fat gain. I have gained about 30 lbs since I stopped back in September 2010.

It seems weird that I have get usually get morning erections, random erections (even as random as holding my girl friends hand or hugging her) but caannot lose a pound of weight! This must mean I have a good total T to total E ratio. My total T as of last December was 417 I believe, and my E2 was 10.2 which is very low.

My diet is consisted of lots of meats, beans, veggies, low sugar fruits like berries, and once in awhile a little sweet potato. I used to be 205 lbs with 13% bf, and now I'm 235 and god knows my bf%. I also only consume about 1500-1800 calories a day, which is still pretty low considering the amount of exercise I do. I workout 6 times a week 3x cardio and 3x weights with no improvement.

So since my libido and ED aren't much of an issue, can anyone suggest why I can't seem to lose a single pound? Any other hormone I should be looking at to determine this? Any supplements people have used for this similar problem?

Any response will be greatly appreciated. This weight gain is basically about 90% of my anxiety problems. I mean I went from being a size 36 waist to almost a 42 now. I just want to lose weight to stay healthy as I have high BP.

I have the same problem....used to be skinny, 6 pack type of guy. Now with the same diet (Body For Life Diet) and more exercise, my weight has settled about 20 lbs. higher than it used to be. I was suggested by someone on a Eunuch forum to try the hormone Pregnanolone (30 mg) to help combat hypogonadic weight gain. I just started last week...I will let you know if the pregnanolone helps.

It's Ok, not great. I mean obviously I have a lot of thyroid like sides, but my TSH has been hovering around 2.70 or so, T3 and T4 are within range.

Good luck man, let us know how that goes for you! My Endo/Naturopathic Doc has suggested Progesterone use in the past, but I told her I'd like to hold off for now because I know some people here have good responses to it but also some bad ones. I've never mentioned Pregnanalone to her so maybe at my next apt I'll see what she thinks about it. Where/how often are you applying it?

Also for anyone having sleep troubles, I have been using Pure Best Rest Formula capsules (melatonin, some herbs) and it works great. Although my ED isn't too much an issue, this definitely help with the morning erections.

I am about the same age as you and have no weight gain issues. My tsh is around 1. You should look into this.

Same exact thing I can't lose weight. I have put quite a bit on and can't lose it. I never had this problem before, My diet is not perfect but its about the way it always was before fin. BTW tried Progesterone cream for a month. It did not work I think it made things worse.

I'm actually taking a very low dose T3 medication my Endo prescribed me (5 mcg Liothyronine)

My TSH before was a little random, anywhere between 3-5.50, but every since on it I am usually around the 2.70 number. My sides are still here though.

2.7 is still quite high, perhaps increasing the dose of T3 may be more affective in controlling the issues you have.
