As you guys already know I have lost my job and I think my IT career is over now (at least until a cure is found). I tried to pick up books and refresh myself but no, my flue like symptoms (tiredness, brain fog etc) are very strong. Recently I went for few interviews but soon realized I can not handle the normal level of stress and tiredness now. It is hard for me to stand on my feet more than 40 minutes, I get tired very easily.
Now I planning to drive Taxi ( actually have written the test already) but I think even this is not possible for me given the long hours and odd timings for being a taxi driver.
My question is how I can go on disability. My Doctor will never write any thing for me. He thinks other than low testosterone I am fine and the rest are my made up stories. All my weakness, weight loss, tiredness, sleep problems etc are because of my own fault. Here I give an example I visited my doctor yesterday with full blown flue like condition. I was feeling very weak and dizzy. My doctor's assistant did not even listen to me. She said I am an obsessed ,crazy hypochondriac. I came home and checked my temperature it was 101+ fever.

how can I cope with this situation ,any suggestion, advice?

I would consult with an attorney, I'm not in Canada but I have an attorney right now trying to get me my job back and he said that if we are unable to get my job back sucessfully, he would ensure that I would get covered under disability. It may cost you a bit of money but he should be able to explain the process to you and you will probably need a doctor to declare you disabled. It would also help if have documentation from your job that your side effects were effecting your work or some kind of written statement that can be linked to your medical condition in some way.
