It wouldn't surprise me if Merck made up this 'condition' to corrupt healthcare and make sure that they can get away with ruining peoples lives like ours.

anyone who places any faith in anything merck says, ESPECIALLY after the very blatant vioxx scandal, are completely stupid. They are only allowed to make up these claims because the whole industry is corrupt. Our disease will be proven and merck will be held responsible.

Merck did not make up somatization disorder but it does tend to be a catch-all for problems where the mechanism of action cannot be determined. While it does seem a little similar to PFS, many guys have physical problems like loss of organic (nocturnal) erections, abnormal nerve conductivity tests, and of course the common hormonal abnormalities.

Joe/bluecloud87 the only irony in your post is that you actually do have a somatoform disorder.


This forum is a double edge sword; whilst awareness of this problem has increased so are the number of depressed fantasists spreading disinformation and even visiting doctors. This is just another hurdle I, and others, have to overcome.

well, all i know is, genital numbness and shrinkage as well as gynecomestia and horrible dry skin amongst other things that were never there until i used finasteride are 110% caused by finasteride. we will be prove it. they will see.

I would openly accept that my condition could be psychological if it were just sex drive or erection problems, but when your penis shrinks by over 50%, loses natural colour and feels completely dead. It is obvious that there is a very serious physical problem.

And how do they explain people with messed up adrenals, super high or low cortisol, and low 3adiolg? Did I just think myself into having the 3adiolg of a puesdo hermaphrodite? Shrunken testicles, liver pain, digestive issues all things that are obviously visable through testing or observation.
