Hi everyone,

I just started Propecia 5 days ago and I've been taking 1mg once per day. I just stumbled across this site and am SHOCKED at the posts. My doctor said sides are reversible but this website clearly proves that that's not always true.

I have NOT experienced any side effects yet from Propecia but I'm not willing to risk it. I love my hair. Sure. But I love sex about a million times more than my hair. So I'm stopping Propecia as of right now. I will not take Finasteride ever again. This morning was my last dose. Done. So... do I have anything to worry about? Is it possible the irreversible sides will still occur even though I'm quitting before experiencing any sides? It's only been 5 days, no sides, yet I want this stuff outta my system NOW :(

Please let me know. I'm very worried after finding this forum.

Thanks

5 days are a really short time, plus you don't have any side effect, so I really think you shouldn't worry at all.

Forget Propecia and relax, you've been lucky to find this website on time and smart enough to do the right thing.

Okay. Thanks for the reassurance. I'll just try to be healthy and not worry about it.

And just fyi, I'll make sure to direct anyone else I encounter who is considering finasteride to this website. I wish the best to everyone on these forums on their road to recovery and I'm very thankful for the guidance.
