See my full story in member stories. My blood work both on & off Fin is in the attached PDF. The lab messed up my second set of results so I don't have all the info I would like. I am going back soon to get my thyroid and liver checked. Let me know if you have thoughts.

your numbers, including your adiol-g, are improving since quitting - i'd say your going to recover just fine.

Total, Free and Bioavailable T levels have dropped since quitting the drug. I'd keep an eye on this, and discuss further with doc. It could explain your libido issues etc. Estradiol also went up since quitting.

Questions:
1) Is there any mechanism by which going off Fin could reduce my Vitamin D levels? It seems odd to me that it dropped by half in a short time span. The only change I made was dropping my daily supplement from 2000 to 1000 IU (dropped b/c my previous reading was high).
2) Is my prolactin high enough that you would treat it (assuming it is still that high after my next test)?

Here is some updated blood work for everyone...interesting to see that 3-Adiol-G is capable of coming back after long-term finasteride use. I still have no idea what to make of that initial drop in T after lowering from .5mg to .125 mg of propecia. DHT didn't budge so it seems unlikely that the drop in dose was doing anything. I had another T test done in Fall 2009...i am going to see if i can get my hands on that.

How are you feeling now? Do you feel you have or are close to recovery?

I put an update in "my stories"...but basically I am quite a bit better. Brain fog is gone, I dream again, I have been getting nocturnal erections about 90% of nights, etc. I still don't get spontaneous erections and still feel that my libido should be somewhat higher.
