Hi everybody I am from Turkey, and living in UK for a while, I used this poision for 4 years and , I read many stories on this forum and my one is not much different from yours, but I really really need your help, as things are not getting any better for me, cant remember the exact dates but I used propecia from 2004 to 2008, I don understand why I used this medicine such a long time :( ,

the firts 1 year I have not noticed anything , but than I started to realise that I was emotionally loosing my interst against the girls I was going out, but as I did not have a steady relation these times I never thought propecia could be the reason, up until, 2008 February, I was back to Turkey from UK for 15 days holiday, and was going to go out with the girl who I was dreaming for a looong time, after a nice dinner she invited me to her place, and guess what at the end of the night I could not get my penis up at all, I did have some pre-symtomps of this situation, at different times and occasions, but never getting up has not happened to me before, after this disater and after some researches about propecia I stopped propecia cold turkey at feb. 2008,

I really do not want to go through all the depressing time I had so far, as it has no difference than yours, but all I can see is everybody here is going through a lot of blood tests and hopefully guys you are seeing the benefits of these,

3 weeks ago I had some blood tests but as no one will get surprised my GP told me its all in my head !! which is really annoying, from the blood tests I can say my Testosterone is 14.0 and FSH is 11.2 which he said FSH is high, but eventhough I asked him to refer me to an urologist he wants to have another blood test in one month time than he said if there is amything abnormal he will refer me,

Since then I started to have some vitamins daily which is Vitamin C- Zinc- Multiomega- Vitamin B complex- and Maca + sometimes zma, to be honest I have not seen much difference at my situation I still have very weak erections, no spontenaus, its nearly impossible to have an erection by thinking, I was really hoping that Maca will help but seems like that is not working either, but I will continue to use it until I finish one box of it, and I hope Maca does not have any devistating side effects,

I will have another blood tests in 2 weeks but meanwhile please advise me what to do guys, I am feeling so so down, and I have to say addition to sexual side effects after stopping this poison I had 2 strong panic attacs, both ended up in the hospital, but nothing makes ne down as much as the sexual side effects, I have done a life time mistake by using this shit, I am very regretful, very very regretful, I wish that I lost all my hair other than being in a situation like this,

I would like to say that I am so sorry for everybody experiencing these effects, there is really not much I can say, I am really sorry for everybody and appreciate any advise you guys can give me before I lose myself,

Stay calm and do not stress too much. It can take time for many symptoms to improve after quitting the drug, depending on each individual's body and other variables.




Let's see what the results of your next blood tests show. If you can, post your current blood tests with ranges beside each test so we can compare in future.

Get plenty of rest, eat healthy, and try and focus on other activities in the meantime.

Hi mate. I understand your panic, everyone goes through the horrible realisation after joining here that there is a lot of experimenting different supplements and medical treatments without any clear path, and very little success. There is some progress recently in getting scientific help to narrow down the cause of what might have happened. Hopefully we can take it from there. I think you have been suffering for a couple of years, try and take things easy and don't let the facts of the forum overwhelm you all of a sudden.

I will have all the detailed blood test in 2 weeks as I started to use Maca, so I just want to give it 1 month time to see what difference it does, and if anyone can tell me about Maca would be really appreciated, I did researches of course but ever website say something different about it, I just dont know what to believe all I dont want at this stage to have another side effect, so if any of you have information on Maca wether it has dangerous side effects or not please inform me ,

Waw mew very good informations, I did research but never saw these ones, its been 3 weeks for me now actually 2.5 I will try it for 2 months and see what effect it will do, as 2.5 weeks is early to judge, well I just wonder which maca I am using then I got it from Holland & Barret its 500mg capsules, has a color very close to black like a soldier uniform green colour, but I have no idea which one is that, by the way is reduced prostat size cause any danger ?? thats actually a bit concerning,

Supplements like MACA will give you a 'boost' at the very best, if you are looking for sustained improvement, don't bother. Also, no not take any supplements week(s) before blood tests.

Try Horny Goat Weed and L-Arginine for erection strength.

Don't psych yourself out in sexual situations, you will give yourself performance anxiety which will only compound the situation.

Mew you are so right on that point but its really really not in my hand, as I had few experiences, and as soon as I meet a new girl, fear comes to me directly, by fear I mean the thought of being unsuccesful at sex, and for sure when this happens I am getting double effected, but cant stop this as its really not under my control, because of the feeling I started to keep myself away from the situtions like going and meeting new people, I am even so scared to get married as my family wants me to but they dont know anything about my situation, how can I get married if I have an issue an inconsistency like this, eventhough I have erection it is nothing compare to the times when I was not on this poison, and everybody keeps having millions of blood tests which I have already given up as there is no outcome at all.

Consider speaking to a mental health specialist to help you deal with the emotional/psychological impacts of the issues you are facing. Talking about this issue with others can be a huge weight off your chest and mind.

As hard as it sounds, you can't let the drug "win" and run your life, you have to take control of your situation to the best of your ability. Preventing yourself from meeting new people will probably not help you in the long run as you'd be isolating yourself.

If you are planning to get married, you should certainly consider discussing your issues with your future wife... honesty and trust are great contributors to a successful marriage and her support will probably help ease your fears/anxiety.

As mentioned there are natural supplements which can help with erectile function. If these are not sufficient there are Viagra, Cialias, Levitra. With more success in this department you will probably find your fears/anxiety about sexual performance will convert to more confidence longterm.

Is there anyone who used Tongkat Ali ? seems like very effective for libido and testosterone as a natural herb, anyone has any experience??

I really envy the people who gets better permanently by using supplements, for the last 1 year I tried every single supplement possible, such as zinc, fish oil, vitamin c- b complex- d3 - b6 , magnesium, maca, horny goat weed, tribulus, tongkat ali, l-argenine, zma , and nothing works, actually most of them worked the first few days than all crashed, situation is not getting any better, its been 4.5 years since I stopped this poison but still no improvement at all, now I have no girl friend also had big arguements with my family , and I am just so depressed as all I want is sit at home and do nothing, eventhough I know I am not supposed to be like this I just cant stop myself going into depression, as I have no more belief that I will get better, if the situation did not improve at all in 4.5 years I dont think it will anymore and I believe I am premanently damaged, I dont even have the courage or the eager of approaching girls anymore, my life is so messed up, I am just very much hopeless.
