PROPECIAHELP: Persistent Finasteride Propecia Proscar side effects info & discussion forum

Hey guys, i will try keep this short.

I'm 25 and stupidly took propecia two years ago only for 1 week, then i quit after i suffered the usual side effects. I then decided to take saw palmetto, as i had heard it was safer and didn't have any sides. Big mistake!! I only took saw palmetto for 2 weeks before i again had side effects, so i quit and have never been the same since.

The sexual side effects have fully recovered, however i have constant and extreme fatigue to the point where i can do nothing but lay in bed all day and my muscles ache and hurt. I am a full time student and this is really effecting my ability to focus and complete assignments. I feel like i'm dead everyday even after a full nights sleep. I am always tired and literally can't do anything. I'm very depressed and don't know what to do.

I have seen my doctor and all he does is shrug his shoulders at me. I have had a full blood count, thyroid test, liver test, and testosterone test and all came back normal.

Can anyone here give me some advise or hope? Is there anything i can do to cure my propecia induced fatigue? Any help would be greatly appreciated as i am becoming desperate here.

Unfortunately this is a common reaction of many doctors as they have not been trained to treat side effects due to finasteride. In the mean time try a paleo diet, get up and walk around if this is the only exercise you can do, take it easy with sexual activity.
