Geez - I am sorry, I bitched in the past about nobody posting to certain threads and here I am not noticing your question. The truth is I rarely am on this site anymore. I stopped the low does arimidex (I think I ran for roughly 3 months) First week was AWESOME then really after that no real major difference. My head is itching like crazy still - have started a new shampoo that seems to be helping a bit (Revita)

I have some on and off shrinkage - some days I still get the thin rubbery dick. Balls are better feeling - however there are some days they shrink down. Mostly they are still far too tight to my body.

Have a 7 day course of Flagyl ready to try to help flaccid size. Have not started yet becuase I don't want to go cold turkey on beer right now.

As far as the site itself. It seems we have lost so many folks who have stopped posting - I don't really see any new ideas or thinking here anymore. When I first found the site I was so excited o know there were other like me and together we could lick this - seems like there was too much bickering and attacking folks on the site. Rally sad - I prefer not to get into the negative energy.

So I guess you can say I am in a holding pattern - better off than where I was six months ago for sure. Making due using ED meds and right now I am not taking any supplements/vitamins/etc. I have found for me that I have just as many ups and downs off as on and I think these mostly fool people who are taking supplements when it would happen without the supplements as well.

I am trying to get to the bottom of why people feel so much better when lowering there estrogen and why it only lasts for a short time.

You are the only one to have blood tests while taking arimidex as far as I think.

And your blood tests tell us that you e2 did not actually go down, hence you lost your libido again.

It would have been very interesting to see some blood tests when your libido was up.

I have seen this pattern happen in non finasteride sufferers. They take an anti estrogen but int the end their estrogen goes up.

As I said, shbg binds to estrogen too, so your free estrogen was higher than when you started.

Now most people think it is much more complicated than a simple estrogen / testosterone ratio. But I think the fact is that you can not feel good with your estrogen so high.

I spoke to one guy who did not take finasteride but his e2 was top of the range and T was middle. He said his libido was gone had depression and was tired.

Robocopp one of the only guys that is supposedly doing ok is taking 25mg aromasin every day. He also takes t4.

Do you think there is any way for you to replicate the results you got in week one and maybe do a blood test when your libido is high.

My guess is if were to take the arimidex again libido would shoot up. As I stated the drug stops the T to E conversion in its tracks so you get the boost from higher T at first. Your body is very good at finding a new balance and I think that happens over time. As a clarification I never rally took a ton of arimidex =- I was a EOD protocol. So I probably could have lowered my E further with more - I just wanted a slow and steady experience vs. a shock.

Arimidex did nothing for my shrunken balls though

I have the opposite I think. Balls are always hard even when shooting T for months on end.

Damn this thread is frustrating!!! Clomid works...no it doesn't....yes it does...no wait, it does only if you take half that dosage....what are you talking about, clomid only works with arimedix......no arimidex is messing people up.....no it isn't as long as you split pills and take half what the doctor prescribed.....that's not true, andractim is what you should take.....are you kidding, andractim screwed me up worse than fin......clomid by itself worked really good.....no it doesn't, hcg is what you should take if anything.....

Blake, one strategy that seems to work longer and better than others for some things like clomid or l-arganine or viagra, for example, is to take the smallest dose that has a physiologic effect and to take breaks with the substance so you don't develop a tolerance. Some things like E inhibitors may function a bit differently regarding breaks.

Hey - so latest bloods included prolactin. Result is high out of range for males. So for me:

High estrogen -out range for males
High SHBG - out of range for males
High prolactin out of range for males

Fucked up indeed. Could be the high SHBG and prolactin is from estrogen? Any suggestions out there for folks with similar patterns

Anyone have the same bloods??

So back on arimidex for me....
Will have additional ultrasound of scrotum and testicles as well

Have you had any improvements from lowering Estrogen? Mine is way high as well; I'm thinking of trying DIM because I'd rather not take pharmaceuticals.

Hello My estrogen is now higher than ever even though my free test is super low my shbg was also higher than ever and from pervious tests I know an increase in estrogen sends my shbg up. I still dont understand how arimidex brought my libido back. Where is the extra estrogen coming from? I do have a small bump on my testicals that hurt when i took erase. It hurt like crazy. Ultrasoud didnt show anything but there is definatly a small hard lump there.

you should have 2nd or 3rd opinion about your bump. I wrote many times about Mirena IUD (it has Levonorgestrel which is 5AR inhibitor as proved here http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/1828548.). Women who got sides from Mirena also got cysts in their ovaries. This again proves man/women suffer alike from 5AR inhibitors.

I have a bump as well.

Anyway - much better results on arimidex this time...
